An annual Christmas exhibition, On a Small Scale, invites a large range of gallery artists to submit work to a specific postcard size, 15 x 21 cm. The reason in doing so is that it invites artists to submit a piece of work that is either relative to another, larger body of work, or a one off unique insight into their practice. Ranging from highly established to emerging artists and recent graduates, this exhibition shows the diversity and commendable range of work produced by the artists represented by Open Eye Gallery.
This year the exhibition will be the largest small scale exhibition to date. With no particular theme or restraints, the exhibition covers a huge scope of both medium and content.
