After spending four weeks making painting research in Pingeyri, a tiny village up in the north-west of Iceland I returned to Reykjavik and was invited to document my work in Hafnarhus, Reykjavik Art Museum’s institute of contemporary art.
It was an honour to work in their library space to make a photographic record of the expressive investigations I had made in reaction to the phenomenal natural light, landscape and extreme weather I had been exposed to.
